WHAT MAKES SYNERGY HOMECARE DIFFERENT?
About SYNERGY HomeCare in Culpeper, VA
PROPELLING LIVES FORWARD
If you’ve been searching for a home care agency, you know there is a sea of sameness in the dozens of home care choices, making it difficult to choose one. We know that can be frustrating.
Synergy Homecare of Culpeper is different from your typical homecare provider. We are a local veteran-owned business that understands home care is complex, essential, and highly personal. That’s why we customize our care to fit the needs of our clients. Our goal is to make difficult situations more manageable, and we take great pride in helping our clients personally to make the community better for everyone.
Our Story
Synergy Homecare of Culpeper was established out of a desire to serve. After serving almost twenty years in the United States Army, Dr. Felix P. Gbee and his wife, Sabita Gbee, wanted to continue serving their community. After exploring several options, they concluded that SYNERGY Homecare would be the best vessel to serve.
At Synergy Homecare of Culpeper, they understand that homecare is not simple. It is crucial and highly personal. That is why Synergy Homecare of Culpeper aims to make a difficult situation more manageable.
Their approach is driven by empathy, compassion, and service. Service to their community is very important to Dr. and Mrs. Gbee.
To the Gbee’s, service is about giving back to their community. Through their Salute to Service initiative, Synergy Homecare of Culpeper offers free transportation to doctor’s appointments for self-pay Veteran clients, hosts a monthly breakfast with first responders, and hosts an annual gala to recognize service-oriented organizations. Synergy Homecare of Culpeper’s success is defined by its ability to enrich the lives of its clients, caregivers, partners, and the community.

Salute to Service
“Unless We Lose Ourselves in Service to Others, Our Lives Have Little Purpose.”
Our communities are enriched when regular people dedicate themselves to serving others. The Synergy Homecare of Culpeper’s Salute to Service program honors organizations and individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to serving our community, often going above and beyond without expecting recognition or reward.
The 2024 Salute to Service recipients were the Culpeper Volunteer Fire Company (LVFC) and Cook for VETS. The LVFC exemplifies the spirit of selfless service. Established in 1803, the dedicated men and women of LVFC have voluntarily served the town of Leesburg for over 222 years. This 100% volunteer-run organization consists of over 150 members serving more than 50,000 residents in Leesburg.
Cook for VETS’ mission is to ensure food security for Veterans and their households by distributing healthy meals and groceries. This simple but critical mission moved the team of Synergy Homecare of Great Falls. The men and women who laid it all on the line for us should never go without food. The Synergy Homecare of Great Falls has committed an annual donation of $5,000 to the Cook for VETS to support this valuable mission.
Breakfast with Our Heroes
The concept for Breakfast with Our Heroes comes from Dr. Gbee’s time in the United States Army. As an infantryman, the then-MSG Gbee looked forward to “hot chow” when he and his team were in the field. Today, the Synergy Homecare of Culpeper team has monthly breakfasts with service organizations such as firefighters, police officers, local government officials, and service organizations.
