SYNERGY HomeCare of St. George is owned and operated by Will and Nanci Christensen, a military husband-and-wife duo, parents to five children, and experienced home care agency operators who have led SYNERGY HomeCare’s Bountiful location since 2023. After three years of serving families along Utah’s Wasatch Front, the Christensens felt they were well-equipped to bring the brand to an entirely new region of the state.
Will, Nanci, and their five children will serve residents of Washington County as well as the communities of Cedar City, Hurricane, Kanarraville, Ivins, Enterprise, and the surrounding areas. Together, they provide a range of services, including companion care, personalized in-home assistance, and specialized support for individuals managing chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery. They also have a distinct focus on providing additional aid to military veterans.
In Will’s 30 years of military service, he reached the rank of Colonel with the U.S. Army Reserve and was once appointed Commander of a Warrior Transition Unit in the Army, where he oversaw care for more than 300 soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with injuries or illnesses. He personally led a company of nearly 50 professional military caregivers, where he developed a deep passion for helping others in need.
After returning to Reserve status and transitioning into civilian life, Will pursued this passion by working in a skilled nursing facility, where he trained to become a licensed facility administrator. Before opening SYNERGY HomeCare in Bountiful, he also led a home health company focused on veterans, further strengthening his personal connection to the caregiving industry.
While Will was rising through the ranks in the military and civilian services, Nanci cared for their five children and worked in office administration roles. Over the past three years, the couple has greatly valued the opportunity to work together under the SYNERGY HomeCare banner, which they will now continue to do with their new St. George location.
SYNERGY HomeCare in St. George provides a wide range of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping, and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care assists with bathing, dressing, using the toilet, and other activities of daily life.
