SYNERGY HomeCare of Tyler is owned and operated by Sherry Carag, an experienced physical therapist who understands the power of having a strong support system.
Sherry and her team of caregivers provide residents living in Tyler, Lindale, Longview, Kilgore, and Gilmer with a wide variety of in-home non-medical services including companion care, personalized in-home assistance, and specialized support for individuals managing chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery.
Carag is originally from the Philippines, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2002 and her master’s degree in 2012. After moving to the United States in 2016, she pursued her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and started an MBA program. She brings her strong culture of valuing and caring for family members everywhere she goes, making her transition into home care a smooth process.
Starting a new life in the U.S. wasn’t easy for Carag and she appreciates the importance of having support when you need it most.
Caring for others is Sherry’s second nature. With her natural affinity for helping others and her dedication to uplifting not only her clients but also her employees, Sherry plans to be a lasting resource for her community and assist them in any way she can.
SYNERGY HomeCare of Tyler provides a wide range of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care provides assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet and other activities of daily life.
