Meet Sahar and Fahad Mahmood, owners of SYNERGY HomeCare Round Rock. They are two healthcare information management graduates whose passion extends beyond their degrees. With histories in healthcare management plus their business acumen, they are well poised to operate a business successfully. But their affinity for home care is deeply rooted as both hold rich backgrounds in child and senior care and community volunteering, where their genuine passion for helping others comes alive. Their main goal or mission is to provide compassionate home care services in innovative ways to help their clients thrive in their own homes.

Sahar has always been a client-oriented individual with a creative and innovative flair. She strives for perfection in what she does and ensures she listens. Her focus is to provide each interaction with her clients is a collaboration to fulfill their needs.

She has many years of experience caring for both children and seniors. Sahar has an almost uncanny way about her where she can adapt to join her client’s “world” to provide the best care in their home. Whether it’s a three-year-old who needs a nap or a senior who has been affected by aging, she befriends them and adapts to their situation. She firmly believes that there is no better way to care for someone than to understand where they are in life stages.

Fahad’s business experience has instilled customer-oriented values in him. He, too, believes that clients are the heart of any business. While he has business practices down pat and has been quite successful, there’s much more to Fahad’s experience---the type of experience that paved the way for him to own SYNERGY HomeCare Round Rock with his sister, Sahar. Not only was he a soccer coach at a local charter school, but he also cared for children and seniors in their homes privately. His business experience, coupled with his passion for home care, makes him a breath of fresh yet traditionalist air looking to restore and elevate the client-centric values of the home care industry.

As a team, they are very comfortable in their work environments and enjoy having casual and open conversations with people, especially clients and employees. And that’s refreshing for all involved as their openness builds a certain intimacy that clients enjoy. That intimacy translates into trust and a common bond. Additionally, they find it reduces any pressure and breaks the ice to become better friends and provide the best in care. They know it can be a difficult transition to have home care. From experience, they've learned that listening and being easy to talk to is key to providing the care that is needed. And how nice is it to have your caregiver also be a friendly companion? Priceless.
