The people behind our home care

Meet Our Team

Yammile Gallegos

Owner/Operator

Yammile Gallegos was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. Following her passion for medicine and helping others, she attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where she graduated Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She also earned a second bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Sciences and a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from UT Health – San Antonio.  Upon completing her studies, she remained in San Antonio working in the field of Interventional Pain Management. Subsequently, she relocated with her husband to El Paso where she continued to practice in the realm of Interventional Pain Management and was part of a large Orthopedic Surgery Group.  Mrs. Gallegos has over a decade of experience as a certified practicing Physician Assistant. Her entire career she has been passionate about helping her patients improve their quality of life through therapeutic approaches to reduce pain by providing safe, conservative, and compassionate care.

Yammile’s entrepreneurial drive and desire to be in business for herself led to Synergy HomeCare, where as an Owner/Administrator, she can help coordinate high quality care for families in Austin.  Another motivating factor for pursuing SYNERGY HomeCare resulted after her personal experience in navigating options for her father whose condition now requires him to have caregiver support in the home in order to carry out his activities of daily living.  Having had that personal experience affords her a unique perspective and appreciation for the role that caregivers play in families seeking home care services. On her spare time Yammile enjoys family time with her three energetic children.

We take a strong lead with a kind hand in what can be a stressful, uncertain time in your life. By charting an assured course and making certain that you and your family members understand what’s happening, we can keep you comfortable every step of the way.
Great care comes from confidence, and confidence is contagious. We know what we’re doing and we’re always striving to do it better. One of the things we do best is relate to people on a personal level. And when you do something well, it breeds confidence. In you, and everyone around you. That’s why our clients, employees and franchise owners are so confident, too.

How we do it:
