SYNERGY HomeCare in Cinnaminson is led by the husband-and-wife duo of John and Melissa Fish, experienced healthcare entrepreneurs who previously launched a successful multi-state, mobile wound care company. After years of helping patients who struggled to access traditional care, combined with a personal experience within John’s family, the two recognized an opportunity to expand the non-medical in-home care services available to residents throughout South Jersey and Philadelphia.
John, Melissa, and their team of caregivers assist residents throughout Camden, Cinnaminson, Maple Shade, Mount Laurel, Palmyra, and Pennsauken with a range of services, including companion care, personalized in-home assistance, and specialized support for individuals managing chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery.
SYNERGY HomeCare in Cinnaminson provides a wide range of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping, and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care assists with bathing, dressing, using the toilet, and other activities of daily living.

Following his graduation from La Salle University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance, John entered the healthcare industry. Though he began his healthcare career as a business development manager, he quickly realized his entrepreneurial ability and launched his own mobile wound care medical company. Originally founded in Atlanta, John grew the business to over 180 employees, running hundreds of complex wound care mobile visits every week across multiple states. That experience provided John with the perfect skill set to transition into non-medical in-home care.
The Fishes’ decision to launch a home care agency was also influenced by John’s own family experiences. His mother was an in-home primary care provider, originally assisting a family friend, and then John’s grandmother as she aged. Though John appreciated the work his mother was doing, he saw the toll it took on her as she balanced her own life with her care responsibilities. He knew that his mother wasn’t alone in her situation, which motivated him to provide a solution for the thousands of families experiencing something similar.
