SYNERGY HomeCare of Cape Fear is owned and operated by Adam Slack, Mike Rokoski, and TJ Dunn, who share a genuine passion for helping people and enhancing their quality of life.
SYNERGY HomeCare of Cape Fear primarily serves Wilmington, Cape Fear, and surrounding communities throughout North Carolina’s Southeastern coastal region.
Rokoski has a strong background in the service industry. He worked in restaurants from 1986 through 2006 and then pivoted into the mortgage business, which evolved into real estate sales and development.
Slack started his career in 2008 in the real estate industry on the finance/mortgage side and has been in the Wilmington area for the past 20 years. His grandmother, Bertha Mae and grandfather, Beasley Strickland both had 24/7 in-home care late in life administered by an incredible caregiver with in-home care.
Slack thoroughly believed these services kept his grandmother, Bertha Mae alive for many years after Beasley passed away. Otherwise, she would have most likely gone shortly after her husband passed. The extended family was able to enjoy many years of family gatherings, Thanksgivings and Christmas holidays that would not have been possible without this personalized service which created a passion for the business—and industry in general.
Dunn has extensive experience in business development and oversees the company’s daily operations.Slack, Rokosk, and Dunn recognize the value of being at home during times of need and are intent on making homecare a viable choice for those who need assistance.
SYNERGY HomeCare of Cape Fear provides an array of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping, and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care provides assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet and other activities of daily life.
