Meet the SYNERGY HomeCare of Billings team
Shanna Tourtlotte – CEO
Hi, my name is Shanna Tourtlotte owner of SYNERGY HomeCare of Billings. I am a graduate of Montana State University and have a professional background in accounting and insurance. I grew up in Eastern Montana and my husband and I have 3 children, Olivia, Drake and Colton. In addition to spending time with my family, I enjoy golfing, water skiing, camping, hiking, traveling and following my children in sports.
Like most families, my family is quick to bring out the game board or the cards at a typical family gathering. I remember sitting with my Grandma while she taught me the game of Pinochle. While teaching me the nuances of the game, she also instilled in me the richness and value of spending time with loved ones in the family home.
Now more than ever, people value the ability to stay in their own home. In 2009, I joined the SYNERGY HomeCare family and over the years I have had the pleasure of helping people of all ages navigate the challenges in life that can lead to additional care needs in a variety of settings.
A successful home care agency requires compassion, organization and commitment. I bring all three of these attributes to the table and the approach of SYNERGY HomeCare utilizes these in every care plan we create. My promise to you is that I will do everything possible in order to assist you in maintaining the peace and dignity one experiences while living in the comfort of their home, or wherever they call home. I invite you to call us today to let our team help you design a care plan that fits the needs for you or your loved one.
Sherry Ross – Office Manager
Hello! I am Sherry Ross. I started my career with SYNERGY HomeCare in 2013. I’ve worn all the hats within SYNERGY and am currently managing the Billings office. I cherish my role and haven’t met anyone who enjoys their job as much as I do. We have an amazing team in Montana and our clients mean the world to me. Spending time with my friends and family is what I do when I am not working. I am originally from Minnesota and I try to get back as often as I can to fish, dip my feet in the lake and relax.
Nikki Pinkerton – Client Care and Scheduling
Hi, I’m Nikki Pinkerton. I’ve been working with SYNERGY Home Care since 2014. I started in healthcare as a CNA in 2006. I finally found my place in Home Health in 2010. I have been doing Health Care scheduling since 2011. I absolutely love my job and work for an amazing company!
I have a wonderful Husband, Tom, and 3 amazing children, Brayden, Peyton, and Madelyn. They are my world and keep me extremely busy.
I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work with you and your loved ones to make the right scheduling match!
Taylor – Recruiting and Training
Hello, I’m Taylor and I am in charge of Recruiting and Training at SYNERGY HomeCare. I was born in Thermopolis, WY but raised in Billings. I am alumni from Skyview High School and Rocky Mountain College. My husband Zander and I are happily married with two wild boys, and 3 dogs. I am currently enrolled in graduate studies to become a licensed marriage and family therapist. When not busy with work and school, I enjoy going to hot yoga, gardening, playing outdoors with my children, paddle boarding, hiking, and running away to the mountains.
I have worked in healthcare since I was sixteen starting my journey with a local assisted living facility, and have worked in healthcare ever since. I am a passionate liaison for caregivers who are brand new or are looking for a different change of pace and who are looking to make a meaningful impact on the senior community. If you know someone interested in working in home care to make a difference in the lives of others, send them my way and I’ll work to help them learn the necessary skills to have a rewarding career in home care.
My name is ShereeLynn and I am the first voice you typically hear when you call SYNERGY HomeCare in Billings. I am married to the love of my life and we have 3 loving kids. I enjoy watching sports but NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys are my favorites. I also enjoy a glass of red wine and love Live Concerts. I am an 80’s girl through and through! I joined SYNERGY HomeCare in 2018 and enjoy my interactions with both clients and caregivers on a daily basis. Go CATS!
Krystal Olson – Community Relations/Marketing
Hi! I’m from Whitewater, Montana… very few people know where this is, (but if you do, then you also know our mascot is the fierce & mighty Penguin!) I was fortunate enough to grow up on our family farm & ranch four miles south of the Canadian border with my parents & four brothers. My love for basketball landed me a college scholarship at Rocky Mountain College, where I graduated with a business degree. I married my husband, Bryce, in 2000. We have been blessed with three beautiful children that keep us running! Our family enjoys all sports, but our favorite sports are the ones our kids are participating in & our MONTANA Grizzlies. In the summers you will find us out on the water, soaking up the sun with family & friends on our big, orange boat! I joined SYNERGY HomeCare in 2018 and it has been the best & most rewarding career decision ever. The commitment to excellence that our SYNERGY HomeCare Team has is absolutely second to none~We are truly led by the best and have an incredible team!
The people behind our home care
PROPELLING LIVES FORWARD
If you’ve been searching for a home care agency for your care or your loved one’s care, then you know there is a sea of sameness in the dozens of home care choices, making it difficult to actually choose one. And we know that can be frustrating.
Our promise to you: care that moves you
Life is in constant motion. From the time we smile our first smile, ride our first bike, find our first home or embrace our first grandchild, it just keeps moving. And a moving life is a full one. But sometimes, life can take a turn that slows us down, or even stops us in our tracks. That’s where SYNERGY HomeCare comes in. To keep the basic needs of your life effortlessly moving forward. So you can focus on what moves you and get the most out of every day.
We guide with purpose
We take a strong lead with a kind hand in what can be a stressful, uncertain time in your life. By charting an assured course and making certain that you and your family members understand what’s happening, we can keep you comfortable every step of the way.
Great care comes from confidence, and confidence is contagious. We know what we’re doing and we’re always striving to do it better. One of the things we do best is relate to people on a personal level. And when you do something well, it breeds confidence. In you, and everyone around you. That’s why our clients, employees and franchise owners are so confident, too.
How we do it:
- We serve beyond the job description.
- We approach the job with a sense of adventure and purpose.
- We take ownership and responsibility over results.
- We quickly spot new opportunities for improvement and act on them.
We know individual people have individual needs
What we do:
We listen and ask questions. That’s the best way to learn how to impact an individual’s life. That’s how we do it. And that’s why we are recognized as an organization that shows an unwavering commitment to understanding people’s needs and providing the care option that best adapts to those needs. This is how we keep you and your life moving forward by being intuitively personal.
How we do it:
- We approach every encounter with compassion, personality and positive energy.
- We inspire others through words.
- We are curious. We ask questions and listen to what’s unspoken.
- We help you set goals. We make you feel as though we are walking with you on your care journey.
Life moves in one direction – forward. No matter your circumstances, SYNERGY HomeCare steps in with effective, comforting, life-affirming care that moves people emotionally and physically forward, from personal assistance and companionship to live-in and even family caregiver respite. We provide full support for fuller lives. Ultimately, we create a feeling of forward momentum, not just in lives but also in the home care industry.
Whether you’re a high-octane octogenarian who just needs a hand, someone confined to bed who needs a little more help, or a person dealing with lifelong disabilities who needs someone to walk beside them on their journey, we’re here to care with whole hearts and open arms.
We know you have questions. And we have answers. When the time is right for you, we would be honored to speak with you. We listen!
