A Personal Message from Jerry

Hello,

My name is Jerry Sowik and I’m the owner of SYNERGY HomeCare of Rochester. SYNERGY HomeCare has a history of helping families find truly compassionate and dependable care for their loved ones. Our goal is to provide comfort and peace of mind to all those we encounter.

In 2004, my mother experienced a severe stroke. She was in a coma for four days, even after spending three months in a nursing home her mobility and strength were very limited and she was not able to speak. My brother and sister and I realized that she could no longer live alone and we had to find a way for her to be taken care of while she regained her strength and mobility. We made many phone calls searching for home care providers but never felt comfortable with the people that we spoke to regarding home care. We were very lucky since my mom’s twin sister Katharine was more than happy to have her stay with her during the day, while my brother, sister and I were at work. In the evening we would then pick up mom and take her to my brother’s house. We were fortunate in that we had a caregiver in the family. This is not the case in most situations.

Because of this experience I understand anxiety that family members go through trying to get the best care for their loved ones. We can help alleviate this concern by performing a comprehensive assessment of your loved one’s needs and then establish a care plan that is right for your situation. The next step is placing the right caregiver with your loved ones. To assure the highest level of care, all of our caregivers have passed a national background check, are both First Aid and CPR certified.

The mission of SYNERGY HomeCare of Rochester is to be the premier provider of home care services by striving daily to offer our clients the highest quality of life and independence possible. We recognize our success starts and ends by treating each of our clients and caregivers with the dignity and respect they deserve. Our goal is to offer comfort and peace of mind by giving a warm smile and helping hand to everyone under our care.
