Super Bowl LIII is coming to Atlanta this weekend!


After Sunday’s championship games concluded, it is finally official, the New England Patriots will be facing the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII in our own city of Atlanta. (Most) Georgians everywhere, not myself included, could be cheering throughout the city when the news broke that the Saints would NOT be traveling to our city.  That being said, there will be plenty of fun events for you to attend with your family and friends in the days heading into the Super Bowl. Each year it is known as the “10 days of events” that gets everyone amped up for the big game and for those not into football, these events will get you hyped up for those coveted Super Bowl Commercials! We hope you are as excited as we are here at Synergy HomeCare North Atlanta to be in the city hosting Super Bowl LIII.

Below we have compiled a list of events that we ourselves may attend as well!

Super Bowl Experience Driven by Hyundai is the NFL’s interactive theme park celebrating the Big Game.

When: Jan.26th-Feb 2nd

Where: Georgia World Congress Center

Cost: Tickets start at $20.

The most exciting, continuous event surrounding Super Bowl LIII also gives you the chance to train like an NFL player at Combine Corner with the 3 Cone Drill, 40-Yard Dash and the Broad Jump! After testing your skills on the field, see what happens off the field with behind-the-scenes access to NFL Network player and celebrity interviews at the Bridgestone Fan Gallery located at Georgia World Congress Center (Building A).

The experience features immersive exhibits, games, player autographs and football drills. You can take photos with the Vince Lombardi Trophy and get a close-up look at all 52 Super Bowl rings.

Super Bowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade will kick off the Big Game festivities. Players and coaches will address the nation live from State Farm Arena.

Be a part of the action as the Super Bowl players and coaches address the nation for the first time live from State Farm Arena in Downtown Atlanta! Super Bowl Opening Night is the first interaction that Super Bowl players and coaches from both teams have with media before the Super Bowl, and the only time the two teams will be in one location before the game. Celebrate with cheerleaders and team mascots, collect free autographs from NFL players and Legends, immerse yourself in the media frenzy from up-close viewing platforms, unique photo opportunities and more).

The event will feature cheerleaders, mascots and autographs from NFL players.

The Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest will feature an array of your favorite artists

When: Jan 31- Feb 3rd

Where: State Farm Arena

Cost: $50-800 depending on musical artists

Set to perform are top musical acts, from Ludacris and Migos to Aerosmith, Post Malone, Bruno Mars, and Cardi B. Tickets are sold on Ticketmaster.

The Super Bowl Gospel Celebration, set for Jan. 31 at Atlanta Symphony Hall, will bring together football players, Grammy Award-winning artists, and celebrities for the “biggest praise party.” It will also be broadcast on BET on Feb. 2.

The Super Bowl Gospel Celebration is the first and only concert sanctioned by the NFL that brings together Elite football players, Grammy Award-winning artists, and celebrities, all on one stage to for a joyful evening of inspiration to kick-off the Super Bowl LII Weekend. Rickey Smiley will co-host the 20th annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration with a musical lineup including Kirk Franklin, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, and the Winans.

The NFL-sanctioned Athletes in Action Super Bowl Breakfast has taken place in the Super Bowl host city every year since 1988, drawing sellout crowds to hear from some of the sport’s biggest names. The Bart Starr Award, presented at the breakfast, honors Starr’s lifelong commitment to serving as a positive role model to his family, teammates, and community. The winner of the Bart Starr Award is determined by NFL-player balloting at the end of the regular season, making it one of only two individual honors selected by the players themselves.

Taste of the NFL, Party with a Purpose

The Taste of the NFL is an annual strolling wine and food event featuring a chef from each NFL city serving their signature dish alongside a current or alumni NFL player. The result? 35+ food stations where guests can sample fine cuisine, meet and mingle with renowned chefs and NFL greats and participate in a silent auction with unique sports memorabilia and other exciting items. This “Party with a Purpose” is a ticketed event at Cobb Galleria that raises awareness and dollars for hunger relief locally and nationally.
