Our Story
Each family has a unique and exciting background that shapes their passions and needs. Our diverse experiences give us the strong desire to serve others. We are both native Nicaraguans, forced from our home country by the revolution in 1979. During this time, both of us faced the loss of loved ones, and struggled to make ends meet when we relocated to the United States. After we met and were married, we jointly owned businesses and became part of charitable organizations, both profit and non-profit.
When beginning Synergy HomeCare of Miami, we wanted to continue our commitment to helping others. Our prior business endeavors include starting a successful mail-order company, launching the third Internet provider in Nicaragua and managed an office furniture store for Herman Miller, an HON brand.
True Caregiving
The role of a caregiver requires an innate desire to serve others and a deep understanding of their needs. As children, siblings, parents, spouses and friends, we have fulfilled the role of caregiver in many different situations. Our experiences, organizational skills and personal responsibility allow us to give you the relief you need during your family’s hard moments.
We have a team of specialized caregivers with vast experience and knowledge of taking care of people in need. We conscientiously screen and interview our caregivers so that we know who will best fit your elderly service requirements. We can coordinate our careTEAM to give you hourly care as well as 24-hour Memory Care. We can give you personal attention, companionship and help with homemaking.
Strong Relationships
Our involvement in supportive groups did not end when we joined Synergy HomeCare. We enjoy participating in many organizations that uplift the families we serve including the Alzheimer’s Association, ParkOptimists – a Parkinsons Support Group, the American Cancer Society, NACC (Nicaragua American Chamber of Commerce and the Multiple Sclerosis Support Team.
