ABOUT SYNERGY HOMECARE OF TRI-CITIES
SYNERGY HomeCare of Tri-Cities is led by Patrick and Marie Johansing, a husband-and-wife team who share a desire to serve their community in any way they can.
Patrick, Marie, and their team of trained caregivers serve residents living in Benton and Franklin counties. They are dedicated to providing these communities with a wide variety of services ranging from companion care, personalized in-home assistance, and specialized support for individuals managing chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery.
Patrick started his career as a civil engineer. He then earned an MBA from CalPoly and started working as a Naval Architect for the Department of Defense. After realizing he was missing the sense of service he desired, Patrick enrolled in medical school and became a family physician.
He developed a particular interest in home care when both his paternal and maternal grandmothers developed Alzheimer’s disease. With the help of non-medical in-home care, one of his grandmothers was able to remain at home while the other was placed in a memory care facility. The contrast in care was remarkable. Even to this day, he and his family appreciate the quality time they had with the grandmother who stayed at home, as well as the better quality of life she achieved than she would have in a memory care facility. In his current position as an experienced physician, he realizes the importance of non-medical home care more than ever before.
Marie earned a degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in vocal performance. She worked as a test engineer for the Department of Defense working on aircraft carriers, testing all the equipment in the main engine compartments. She then decided to stay home and raise her and Patrick’s three children. While doing so, she has become closely tied with her community by volunteering at their church and local elementary school.
Patrick and Marie are dedicated to bringing a level of professionalism, compassion, and personalized care that is unrivaled in the Tri-Cities area.
SYNERGY HomeCare of Tri-Cities provides a wide range of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping, and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care provides assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet and other activities of daily life.
