About SYNERGY HomeCare of Champlain Valley
SYNERGY HomeCare of Champlain Valley is owned and operated by Tina Neill, a long-time social worker, mother of two, and the daughter of a veteran.
Tina and her team of caregivers serve all residents throughout the Champlain Valley, including Chittenden, Addison, and Franklin counties. They are dedicated to providing these communities with a range of services including companion care, personalized in-home assistance, comprehensive veteran care programming, and specialized support for individuals managing chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery.
Before taking over the Shelburne-based SYNERGY HomeCare office, Tina spent 17 years working with the aging population and people living with physical and developmental disabilities. She has always gravitated towards providing care to the people who need it most and is comfortable in any caregiving situation.
Although most of Tina’s professional career was already in the care industry, it was a family experience that pushed her towards becoming the owner of a SYNERGY HomeCare franchise. Tina’s father, a military veteran, returned home from service with cancer and later became paralyzed. Her family took over his caregiving responsibilities, and despite their best efforts, he still needed more services than what was locally available. The Neills were faced with the difficult decision of relocating their father to a VA-funded nursing facility, where they felt a disconnect from their loved one. After this experience, Tina swore to do everything in her power to help the rest of her community avoid facing similar challenges.
Tina’s relationship with her father has also inspired her to go above and beyond in providing care for military veterans. She places a heavy emphasis on SYNERGY HomeCare’s Veteran Care Program and is eager to help any local veterans access the care options they deserve.
SYNERGY HomeCare of Champlain Valley provides a wide range of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care provides assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet and other activities of daily life.
