About SYNERGY HomeCare of Virginia Beach

SYNERGY HomeCare of Virginia Beach is owned and operated by Craig Hendricks and Rachel Sicoli, RN. They got into home care because it was a business that they were familiar with and they both have a passion for helping older adults. Rachel has been in home care as a nurse for 10 years.

Craig and Rachel’s team of caregivers will primarily serve residents of the greater Virginia Beach area, including Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Norfolk, with services ranging from companion care to personal care to specialized care for people with chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery.

Rachel had worked for a SYNERGY HomeCare office in New Jersey and liked the compassion and support she got from the company. In moving to Virginia, she wanted to bring the same standard of quality care with her.

Craig and Rachel both have personal connections to the home care industry, playing a large role in caring for their own family members as their needs changed. They also wanted to find a business that they could open together that tapped into their professional backgrounds. They chose SYNERGY HomeCare for its robust support systems, making a new area feel more like home to them and in turn, doing the same for their clients.

Rachel has always been in jobs that had her in various positions of caring for others:
waitressing, personal training, college professor, group instructor, massage therapist, life
coach, home care nursing, advocate, and CPR instructor. She has the ability to easily read
and understand people deeply and quickly gains trust from those around her.

Craig has also been in the field of caring for or teaching others: massage therapy, valet parking, personal training, construction, office management, and CPR instructor. He has a knack for detail and dove headfirst into learning and running day-to-day operations. Craig has a great ability to be patient with others and offer effective and empathetic communication.

They truly practice their mission of offering services to families and clients, and that means effective and thorough communication within all parties involved. To Rachel and Craig, that also means consistency, compassion, and trust. These pieces are all essential to be able to provide the best care for every client. Their caregivers are also be a part of this effort. SYNERGY HomeCare clients will always know them, as they are the faces of the company and always available to you 24/7.

SYNERGY HomeCare of Virginia Beach provides a wide range of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care includes assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet and other activities of daily life.
