ABOUT SYNERGY HOMECARE OF LOUDOUN
SYNERGY HomeCare of Loudoun is owned and operated by Maisie Bankah. She is passionate about seniors and finds fulfillment in caring for them.
Maisie and their team of dedicated caregivers will serve Aldi, Ashburn, Brambleton, Leesburg, Potomac Falls, Greatfalls, and Sterling with a wide variety of short and long-term in-home, non-medical care options, ranging from companion care, personalized in-home assistance, child care and specialized support for individuals managing chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery.
Maisie is originally from Ghana, earning her Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi. After coming to the U.S., she dedicated over 20 years to managing a retail pharmacy, providing various pharmaceutical services and counseling patients on medication usage.
Being Ghanaian, caregiving was ingrained in Maisie from a young age, especially having multiple generations living under one roof. As a pharmacy manager, Maisie met countless seniors who struggled to make it to their doctor appointments and pharmacies to pick up their important medications, which motivated her to make the switch to home care so she could provide holistic support to her clients.
At SYNERGY HomeCare of Loudoun, caregivers are invested in the well-being of our clients and treat them like family. They exhibit a high degree of compassion, empathy, patience, and attention to detail. They draw inspiration from an old African saying: “Your parents nurtured you as a child to grow your teeth, it is your responsibility to help them lose theirs as they age.”
SYNERGY HomeCare of Loudoun provides a wide range of non-medical in-home care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping, and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care provides assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet, and other activities of daily life.
