SYNERGY HomeCare based in North McAllen is owned and operated by Laura Valadez, a registered nurse who started her career working in emergency rooms providing life-saving care to patients.
After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in nursing science from Grand Canyon University, Laura worked at the HCA Gulf Coast Division-Rio Grande Regional Hospital Emergency Room. Here, she not only administered and monitored countless vital treatments, medications, and therapy sessions, but she also excelled in her customer service abilities as she provided comfort to countless people while they were at their most vulnerable.
Laura spent the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic on the front lines as a medical professional. . She realized that the care process doesn’t end at the front doors of the hospital, but instead, it is an ongoing undertaking that requires hands-on, at-home management. This insight inspired Laura to take her commitment to compassionate care to the next level. Encouraged by her mother, who is also a caregiver, Laura decided to start her own non-medical homecare agency.
Now, at the helm of her own SYNERGY HomeCare franchise, Laura is continuing to fulfill her aspirations of helping as many people as possible, while also achieving her goal of becoming a business owner. She has carried the belief that effort and attitude can lead to success in any environment, and these are the values that she wants to continue to implement in the homecare industry.
SYNERGY HomeCare based in North McAllen provides a wide range of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care provides assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet and other activities of daily life.
