Hi Y\u2019 all! I hope everybody is enjoying the onset of autumn and having a great time with friends and family. What is life without being surrounded by friends and family, without spending enough time with the loved one and without spending quality time with kids and grandparents? I see the time spent with young and elderly as a bridge between the past and the future, reflecting on past achievements and hoping for new horizons in the future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We have been open for business for more than four months and I specifically want to tell you about the seniors and patients we have supported for their trips to and from colonoscopy and endoscopy. Most of the patients are not aware of the fact that for both endoscopy and colonoscopy, they need a caregiver or family member who must be with the patient before, during and after the procedure is completed. Hospitals make it mandatory that the patients have someone with them before start of procedure.\u00a0 In both the procedures the patient is administered sedatives and it normally takes about one hour to two hours for the sedatives to wear off after the procedure is complete, during which the patient is monitored in the hospital. The complete procedure from checking in until the patient is ready to leave the facility will take anywhere between 4 to 6 hours. The effect of sedatives lingers until next day of the procedure and hence the patients cannot drive themselves back. Caregivers or family members should be available in the facility to drive them back to home.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We have helped quite a few patients with their visit to and from endoscopy and colonoscopy and it’s been a great help for both family members and patients. First it helps the family member who is working, not to lose any working hours and eliminating the stress of driving them to and from the facility. Our care trip service provides the patients with a comfortable, personalized service including complete attention from our caregiver, who is 100% dedicated to patient care, not distracted by work calls or constrained by time due to limited availability of the hours they can take off. Our caregivers help patients feel comfortable after the procedure and also help the patient get in the car safely, help them with their personal belongings and drive them safely back to home, during which the patients can recover and relax, while the family members can spend their time at work or stay at home preparing meals and picking up prescription medication needed for the patients.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
