SYNERGY HomeCare of Boerne is owned and operated by Bettina McGriggler, the award-winning owner of nearby SYNERGY HomeCare of Greater San Antonio. In her ten years of ownership with SYNERGY HomeCare of Greater San Antonio, she has been recognized for service excellence by Home Care Pulse, most recently receiving the 2023 Provider of Choice award, which is given to the franchisee with the highest client satisfaction scores, the 2023 Employer of Choice, which is given to the franchisee with the highest employee satisfaction scores, and the 2022 Leader in Experience Award, which is one of the most prestigious Home Care Pulse awards, given to only the top 10% of performers.
Now operating her second location in Boerne, Bettina and her team of caregivers will serve all residents of Kendall, Kerr and Bandera counties. Services range from companion care to personal care to specialized care for people with chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery.
Bettina is the latest among many public servants in her family. She was raised in a household that prioritized giving back and was taught that business should be a “head-heart match.” It should be a solid business opportunity focused on providing a valuable community service. Pursuing the home care industry was a natural choice.
Before opening her home care business, Bettina spent years working in corporate America, holding roles in operations, human resources, project management, marketing, and information technology. Today, like many families, she is a part of the Sandwich Generation, juggling the demands of a professional career while caring for a parent.
This background provided Bettina with not only business management skills but also the ability to empathize and provide proper care for a loved one battling the difficulties that come with the aging process. Her experience showed her the intricacies of caring for an aging loved one. Bettina’s goal is to make her company a centralized source of support for families with home care needs so she can simplify the process for others as much as possible.
SYNERGY HomeCare of Boerne provides a wide range of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping, and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care assists with bathing, dressing, toileting, and other activities of daily life.
