SYNERGY HomeCare of Philadelphia is owned and operated by Manoj and Shivangi Thakur, a father-daughter duo with a background in business development and management, as well as healthcare industry expertise.
Together, the Thakurs and their team of caregivers serve all residents of the city, as well as neighboring communities including Essington, Sharon Hill, Darby, Lansdowne, Drexel Hill, Springfield, Clifton Heights, Glenolden, Norwood, Prospect Park, Ridley Park, Folsom, Morton and Holmes. Their services range from companion care to personal care to specialized care for people with chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery.
Before transitioning into the homecare industry, Manoj developed a reputation as an expert in IT and business management. He spent over 20 years in the technology industry in leadership roles, including starting and managing his own business in digital transformation. Manoj also has a master’s degree in Business Administration.
By his side is Shivangi, who has a background in biochemistry. She plans to pursue her passion for holistic medicine as a medical doctor. Shivangi was born a caregiver at heart, and her natural compassion has guided her throughout her educational career, and now her professional career as well.
With Manoj’s business know-how and Shivangi’s commitment to compassion, the Thakurs are primed to raise the bar for Philadelphia in-home care. The city is home to numerous world-class hospitals and rehabilitation centers with a large population of older residents. The Thakurs are excited to connect with these potential clients and put their company philosophy into practice – “Your loved one is our loved one, and we’ll care for them as your own family would.”
SYNERGY HomeCare of Philadelphia provides a wide range of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care provides assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet and other activities of daily living.
