The importance of quality care was impressed upon me at a very young age. As a child, I was fortunate to have known my great-grandfather, who fought in WWI and lived to be more than 100 years old. He lived in Greece on a small island in the Aegean Sea. In his final years, he was bed bound and was cared for by my grandmother who was also in her senior years. Her attention to his personal care needs was inspiring. Even as a child, the positive impact of home care and family caregiving was instilled upon me. As I grew, so did my desire to serve.
