SYNERGY HomeCare in Goldsboro is led by the husband-and-wife team of Justin and Ashley Ange, eastern North Carolina natives who combine for nearly 25 years of experience in both nursing and healthcare administration. After decades of serving eastern North Carolina families in healthcare settings and community pharmacies, where one of the most prominent needs among patients and clients was at-home care, the Anges decided to address the need themselves by opening their own in-home caregiving agency.
The Anges and their team of caregivers assist residents throughout Wilson, Goldsboro, La Grange, Mt Olive, Pink Hill, Deep Run, Albertson, Warsaw, Kenansville, Beulaville, Richlands, Jacksonville, and surrounding areas with a range of services, including companion care, personalized in-home assistance, and specialized support for individuals managing chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery.
Together, the couple aims to help support residents throughout eastern North Carolina who are juggling work, family life, and providing care for their own aging loved ones.
SYNERGY HomeCare in Goldsboro provides a wide range of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping, and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care assists with bathing, dressing, using the toilet, and other activities of daily life. Specialized care provides advanced non-medical personal care and support for clients with complex physical or cognitive conditions who require a higher level of experience, observation, and compassionate care.
Justin and Ashley Ange | Owners
Ashley is a graduate of the University of Mount Olive with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, which she used to spend eight years caring for patients in their homes and in professional healthcare settings. During that time, she developed close bonds with those she served and gained firsthand experience witnessing the positive impact that continued care can have on individuals and their families. Quickly, she fell in love with providing impactful service, which has since become the focus of both her personal and professional life. When she isn’t serving others as a nurse or as the mother to her children, she also works with local organizations, including the Lenoir County Young Professionals & Rotaract, where she serves as Vice President.
Similarly, Justin brings over 15 years of healthcare administration experience to the business, which he pursued after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Charleston. Following graduation, Justin began working in pharmacy settings throughout eastern North Carolina, where he now serves as the Director of Operations for a group of independent community pharmacies. In 2020, Justin opened a location of The UPS Store in his hometown of Kinston, NC. Like Ashley, community service has been a passion and the guiding force of his adult life.
