SYNERGY HomeCare of Concord is owned and operated by Sherry Shepherd, an Air Force veteran and well-versed leader in corporate America.
Sherry and her team of caregivers will serve residents of Concord as well as the neighboring communities of Kannapolis and Landis. They are dedicated to providing these residents with a range of services including companion care, personalized in-home assistance, memory care for those living with Alzheimer’s or dementia and specialized support for individuals managing chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery.
Ensuring a high-quality client experience is a skill that Sherry picked up after spending 15 years in customer-facing roles across various industries. One of these positions was as the leader of the customer success and experience departments with a local healthcare provider, where she learned both the trends of the industry and the needs of her local community. After years of fielding client suggestions and making incremental service improvements, Sherry knew she had the tools to make an even greater impact beyond the reach of her current corporate role.
Sherry was already familiar with multiple charitable organizations throughout Concord thanks to her time spent volunteering in events that help the local homeless population, annual Christmas drives and assisting a local transportation service for patients needing to get to and from doctor’s appointments. However, it was SYNERGY HomeCare that caught her eye as the best opportunity to make the most impact within her community.
SYNERGY HomeCare of Concord provides a wide range of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care provides assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet and other activities of daily life.
