Afifa has an extensive professional background, spanning 27 years working in the insurance sector, including owning her own insurance agency, 11 years in finance, 15 years working as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels, and a lifetime of providing care to loved ones.
Afifa and her team of caregivers assist residents throughout [SERVICE AREA] with a range of services, including companion care, personalized in-home assistance, and specialized support for individuals managing chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery.
Afifa’s entire life has been defined by her compassion for others. As the oldest of eight siblings, she was immediately tasked with caregiving responsibilities, many of which persisted into adulthood. In recent years, Afifa has coordinated and provided care for her adoptive mother in California, both of her biological parents in Colorado, and her oldest son, who lives with a mental disability. In all of these cases, Afifa was the primary source of support, ensuring that her loved ones’ medical, personal, and daily living needs were met.
Afifa’s natural caregiving prowess is complemented by her wealth of professional experience. Her career began in banking before she transitioned into the home and auto insurance industry, where she spent 27 years and bought and sold her own agency. Following that experience, caregiving became more of a focal point in Yusof’s life, though that didn’t stop her from also working as a financial advisor and regular volunteer with Meals on Wheels. Now, Yusof is ready to fully dedicate herself to the caregiving industry.
