We send you greetings as the summer comes to a close. We hope you were able to enjoy some sunshine and warm weather and that you’re ready to enjoy the New England fall leaves around the corner.
We’re excited to announce our office’s recent move to Westwood!
Synergy is on the second floor of this building with almost double the square feet of our previous office. Most importantly, it’s on an MBTA bus and commuter rail route, which makes it more accessible. Its location in the Islington area is also convenient: a beautiful new CVS will be two doors down, and Roche Bros, Bertie’s homemade ice cream shop and Islington Pizza are close by. (Guess which one has been a favorite stop this summer?!) Please stop by and say hello, if you’re in the area!
To build relationships in our new location, Synergy will participate in Westwood Day, September 21, in the Vendor Village–on the grounds of Westwood High School. We look forward to making new contacts in the area and spreading the word about how SYNERGY HomeCare can be a resource to the community.
We’ve partnered with Seasons Hospice to provide training events for our caregivers.
In May, Seasons staff presented training on hospice care, and August 14, the topic was dementia. We hope that these trainings will be useful to the caregivers who were able to attend and that they will use this knowledge in the care they provide to our clients.

- Summer Care: Hydration and other safety tips. Peter was interviewed on Channel 5 about this, too!
