In the realm of home care, dedicated professionals go above and beyond to provide exceptional support and care to those in need. They exhibit unwavering compassion, empathy, and a commitment to enhancing the lives of their clients. Today, we are thrilled to shine a spotlight on one such extraordinary individual, Rashauna, our Synergy care professional of the Month!<\/p>\n

Rashauna is a shining example of the values and qualities that define excellence in the home care industry. She comes from a family of nurses and doctors and aspires to be an RN herself. She has always taken care of others and finds it to be the greatest gift. Since working with Synergy she has consistently gone above and beyond to make a positive impact in the lives of her clients. When asked why she chose this path she said, \u201c It\u2019s changing lives. People live longer when you are there for them and just talk to them\u201d.<\/p>\n

What sets Rashauna apart is her remarkable compassion and love for her job. She approaches her work with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those under her care. She is able to connect with her clients on a deeply personal level, understanding their unique needs, fears, and desires. For example, with one client, Rashauna knows her favorite scent is lavender. If the client is having a challenging day Rashauna sprays it around the house and it has a calming effect for the client. Rashauna does her best to help each client find happiness every day, starting with wearing a big bright smile of her own! She learns ways to communicate whether it\u2019s through body language, facial expressions, or rephrasing the clients requests, and is aware when they need extra attention or extra space and independence.<\/p>\n

The impact Rashauna has had on clients and their families is immeasurable. She has always been a positive person and goes to work each day with an attitude of \u201cI\u2019ve won the lottery!\u201d. Countless testimonials from grateful families and heartfelt expressions of appreciation serve as a testament to the difference Rashauna has made in their lives. From providing assistance with daily tasks to offering companionship and emotional support, she has become a source of comfort and stability during challenging times. Rashauna remembers feeling lonely in her own childhood and takes comfort in being present for her clients and to help fill that void. She loves to take clients outside in nature, go for walks, and anything to manifest their ideal day.\u00a0 She says, \u201c Everybody needs someone to help them, even if you don\u2019t think you do\u201d.<\/p>\n
