In a society where aging populations and increasing healthcare demands pose significant challenges, Synergy shines as a beacon of hope and support for individuals and families in need of quality in-home care. In 2021, Kurt and Christine Bowman started a Synergy in Tallahassee, which has been recognized nationwide and awarded the Newcomers Award of 2023! This dynamic duo have put their heart and soul into this business and within its first year has served countless of clients and their families.<\/p>\n

To start the business, Kurt and Christine sold everything, moved onto their boat, and worked round the clock. Christine is an occupational therapist and has always had a passion for taking care of others, while Kurt previously worked in the car business as a renowned general manager. Together Christine and Kurt are an unstoppable force, with their different backgrounds proving to be the perfect ingredients for running a home-care business. The opening of their office coincided with Kurt\u2019s mother needing but refusing nursing home care. His mother ending up being their\u00a0 first client and able to spend the last year of her life in the comforts of her home as she wished, surrounded with love and family.<\/p>\n

At the heart of Christines and Kurts success is in how they show care for their clients. Their motto is \u201cSay \u2018Yes\u2019 then figure out a way\u201d and they do! The have no minimum hours for care- no job is too small or big. Kurt and Christine make sure to stay connected with their clients with constant communication and always looking for feedback. They truly care about each client and what\u2019s important to them. Christine said, \u201cIts caring about people. It’s in the details, the little things to do to change peoples lives\u201d. For example, for one client who was having challenging evenings, they brainstormed with the care professional determined to find a solution. After discovering the clients favorite animals, Synergy sent a robotic therapy pet to their home as a surprise. The client and family were overjoyed by the animal and sweet gesture. Kurt and Christine believe we are put here to help others and are determined to do just that with their team at Synergy.<\/p>\n

Another secret to their success is how Kurt and Christine show up for the care professionals. They take great pride in hiring caregivers who possess not only the necessary qualifications but also a genuine passion for making a positive impact in people’s lives. Most took care of their own families and describe how nothing feels right after that, how no other job feels important. The care professionals go above and beyond their duties while Kurt and Christine offer support and are ready 24\/7 to assist them in whatever they or their client need. Whether it\u2019s a ride to a clients, advice, comfort, or a gift certificate to a favorite restaurant after a busy week, Christine and Kurt make sure their team is appreciated and taken care of.<\/p>\n

With Synergy and the leadership of Christine and Kurt, individuals and families can rest assured that their loved ones will be treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and compassion.\u00a0 They are intentional with every aspect of their business and are inspired to help more and more people each day. They are currently expanding and opening an office in Panama City to employ future care professionals and assist as many clients as possible.
