SYNERGY HomeCare of South Sarasota is owned and operated by Richard and Yesenia Lawler, a husband-and-wife duo who truly understand the meaning of service.
The Lawlers and their team of dedicated caregivers are committed to providing a comprehensive range of short-term and long-term care options. These include companion care, personalized in-home assistance, child care and specialized support for individuals managing chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery, ensuring that all care needs are met.
Richard holds a master’s degree in accounting and brings a wealth of experience to the table. He served as a Marine Corps Infantry Officer for nine years, where he honed his leadership and strategic planning skills. Following his military career, Richard spent 13 years as the head of logistics for a sand and rock company with operations spanning the lower 48 states, Mexico and the Bahamas.
Despite English being her second language, Yesenia earned a four-year degree in just 36 months. Her work experience includes a decade of teaching Spanish at a private school and 10 years of homeschooling the couple’s two children.
Richard and Yesenia both come from families that devoted themselves to serving those in need. Their parents’ selfless acts of kindness left a lasting impression on the Lawlers, inspiring them to shift their careers toward caring for others. They also know firsthand the struggles of caring for those in need in the long term, giving them a unique understanding of and empathy for families’ situations.
SYNERGY HomeCare of South Sarasota provides a wide range of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care provides assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet and other activities of daily life.
