SYNERGY HomeCare of South Dade is led by Joel Aramis, a former mortgage financier and billion-dollar start-up founder, who is now venturing into the world of home care following a deeply personal experience with his loved ones which brought to light the need for higher-quality care in South Florida.
Joel and his team of caregivers will provide all residents of Miami-Dade County and Monroe County with a range of services including companion care, personalized in-home assistance, and specialized support for individuals managing chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery.
Aramis spent over 22 years as the successful owner of a mortgage finance company, where he honed his skills in management, sales and customer relations. Despite his success, he still wanted to pursue more independent projects. This led Aramis to found his own startup finance-tech company, where he served as VP of Sales as the business scaled from $0 to over $1.8 billion. Still though, Aramis believed there were even more meaningful opportunities to pursue.
His discovery of the homecare industry was purely accidental. Following the success of his start-up, Aramis had two loved ones who suddenly required high-quality care but faced difficulty finding it nearby. This is where Aramis knew he could make a difference. After researching more about the industry, Aramis discovered the significant gap between the number of people who could benefit from this care versus the number of nearby providers that can provide it.
SYNERGY HomeCare of South Dade provides a wide range of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care provides assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet and other activities of daily life.
