The company is led by brothers Harvinder and Surinder Bahia, who have a combined total of more than 40 years of health care experience. Harvinder, who is the CEO, practiced dentistry before joining SYNERGY HomeCare in 2017 as a co-owner of SYNERGY HomeCare of Fresno. Surinder is a physician with Mercy Medical Group.
Their family immigrated to the U.S. from India in 1982 and always enjoyed a strong family culture. Their late father instilled in them the importance of caring for others, which drove their desire to enter health care.
Harvinder and Surinder have years of experience in serving seniors while bringing comfort and confidence to their adult children. They believe home care is a relationship business where empathy really matters. They are extremely compassionate and emotionally connected to their clients.
SYNERGY HomeCare of Elk Grove provides a wide variety of non-medical care options. It offers companion care, which consists largely of assisting in cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care provides assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet and other activities of daily life.
The company also provides specialized care for people with chronic health conditions or those recovering from illness or surgery. They also provide child care, backup care and assistance for expecting families.
