The holidays are a time for reconnecting and warm family gatherings. Some friends and relatives we see only once a year - during the holidays. If you have an elderly loved-on that you see infrequently, you may observe some mental or physical deterioration. Be sure to watch for a loss of interest in appearance or healthy routines. Be prepared for the potential effects of aging on your loved-one...and be ready to respond in a helpful and constructive way.

Workshop attendees will learn about:

  • Warning signs of declining health.
  • How to access mood changes.
  • What mobility concerns exist?
  • Safety checks.
  • What you can do to help.
  • How to be helpful, yet respectful.
  • How to work with other family members.
