Recruiting Coordinator
SYNERGY HomeCare exists to provide in-home care management and personal assistance to people in need. The Recruiting Coordinator will help SYNERGY HomeCare of Greenville continue to expand our imprint, thereby making a difference in the lives of others. The Recruiting Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring and developing the best possible talent. Essential Job Functions:
Recruit new Caregivers
- Lead the creation and implementation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for open positions
- Create and manage all job postings
- Review applications daily and respond to applicant inquiries, schedule and conduct phone interviews
- Schedule and conduct in-person interviews
- Process applications to include reference checks and PPD completion
Onboarding new Caregivers
- Invite applicants to Orientation
- Prepare and ensure a smooth orientation and transition of new hires
- Review all new hire paperwork for accuracy and upload into the system
Caregiver Compliance

- Document and/or track all interaction with caregivers, including, but not limited to:
- Track caregiver certifications for expiration
- Maintain active caregiver personnel files
- Purge deactivated caregiver personnel files as necessary
- Conduct performance evaluations at 90 days and annually
- Responsible to handle all disciplinary actions in a timely fashion
Caregiver Retention
- Responsible to ensure employment satisfaction
- Create new ideas for caregiver recognition programs
- Track number of caregivers not working and terminated employees
Skills and Core Competencies:
- A daily documentation of applicants and their status as well as all other caregiver information
- Foster an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration
- Maintain familiarity and build relationships with caregivers
- Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency and prioritize tasks
- Demonstrates competency in organizational, planning, written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to relate easily to diverse individuals and groups
Requirements:
- General knowledge of various employment laws and hiring practices
- Skilled in data entry and record-keeping
- Responsible turn in key performance indicators to owner weekly
- Home Care experience strongly preferred
- CNA/Caregiving experience strongly preferred
- On-Call rotation
- Hours are FT 8-5pm Mon-Fri
- Other duties as assigned
